Warm weather, the sunshine, the flowers, the smell, most of all the feeling that winter is over and there's a feeling of refreshing everywhere. (though at the moment we have about 3 inches of snow on the ground.) Last week was good though.
2. What I'm doing for Spring Break:
It is actually our spring break right now. We may go to Silver Dollar City. (at least we're kicking it around.) We were going to spring clean the house, and yard and burn some clippings from our hedges, but the snow has delayed that, not to mention put a damper on the old spring cleaning mood. Hopefully that will return with the warm weather.
3. Favorite Spring flower: Has to be the daffodil, and the hyacinth They always bloom early, and have the most delicious smell.
4. Do you have a garden? Only a small flower garden, we live in town, and don't generally grow a garden.
5. If so, what do you grow? As I said, we don't generally grow a garden per se, but we DO occasionally grow some tomatoes, and green onions.
6. Do you do Spring cleaning? Yes, and as I stated already, we were going to get into that full swing this week, but the weather has taken a toll on our get up and go. Our yard doesn't dry out very well so it will be a muddy mess for a few days even if it warms up and melts the snow.
7. What is your weather *really* like right now? Super cold, snowy and cloudy sky. In a nutshell ... winter. My daughter built a really cute snow girl yesterday. My father in law, in a neighboring state, called to say they got 10 inches of snow yesterday!
8. Snapped any weather related photos lately? Share one with us!.
My daughter's snow girl. This was taken yesterday, notice the green clover under the snow.
9. What's your favorite thing to do on a sunny afternoon? Have some friends over to grill out, Sit in the shade, visit, and watch the kids play.
10. Favorite TV show right now? Road to Avonlea. It doesn't actually come on right now, but it's still my fav. I don't really watch the new stuff.

Yay hyacinth! I just love it. That snow girl is soooo cute, and it's too funny to see the clover underneath!
ReplyDeleteHappy FMM!
I'm so sorry you still have snow!! Blah. But that snow girl is absolutely adorable.
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking yesterday that I wanted to have my girls watch the Anne of Green Gables movies. Now I'll have to check into that show. :)
Happy Monday!

Happy FMM! Hopefully your weather gets warmer. Your daughter's snow girl is adorable!
ReplyDeleteThat is the most colorful snow girl I have seen yet! We were bombarded by a last (please) blast of winter this weekend too and I was surprised driving to work this morning not to see more snow creations. I work on a college campus and the last snow storm they built a Stone Henge out of snow on the green.
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm a late follower from Monday. I just wanted to stop by and say hello. You have a lovely blog. I love the weather spring brings too:)
